Stove circles that didn’t fit

When we are toddlers, we learn how to make things fit. Some of us may remember fitting cubes inside shaped holes. That game might be the root of a serious OCD. Something about this image reminds me of those ages.

The panel withdrawn circles is supposed to coincide with the stove’s shape. The fact that they do not exactly fit is quite disturbing. If these circles are not going to coincide, I’d rather have no drawings at all.
