Sharpened yet useless pencils

Don’t you feel like you used pencils way more when you were a kid than now? As a matter of fact, I barely use pencils nowadays. I do remember, though, that sharpening was a pain in the neck.

A trick is to free the lead with a knife if that happens to you. It isn’t hard, but the pencil looks awful and sloppy afterward. If you don’t have a knife at hand, you can use your nails. Ouch!
