We adore our hamsters for their unique ability to stuff astonishing amounts of food into their large cheek pockets and save it for later use. Their cheeks are, of course, are normally reserved for seeds. Meanwhile, this hamster has developed a taste for something it wouldn’t get in the wild.
It’s important to remember that giving chocolate to your pets is never a good idea. It can be extremely harmful. On the other hand, some may see this obese critter as a clear illustration of the hazards of not exercising. At the very least, we now know why it’s so chubby.
