Stomach Surgery
This is the story of a mother of two who went in for stomach surgery. While she was sedated, she remembers having a tube fitted into her and went blank.
She felt excruciating pain from the procedure. She says she felt the doctor and nurses cutting her stomach open. This was possible because she woke up during her surgery. She thought she was dreaming and tried to wiggle her toes, but nothing moved. Waking up during any type of procedure is terrifying. While it is rare, it is not impossible. Always be aware of the complications that come with surgery and sedatives, and consult with your doctor to know what your body will react to the best.
