This Redditor went in for appendix removal surgery, and midway through the surgery, she woke up and felt she was having a nightmare while surgeons shoved tubes into her appendix. While awake, she was in pain, and the smell of the procedure was vile.
She felt like there was a 500-pound weight on the side of her body where her appendix was. This experience was traumatizing and extremely painful.
