What a Hip Replacement Surgery Sounds Like
Chef Peter Unruh had resistance to anesthesia and requested to be knocked out completely during the procedure because he couldn’t stand the pain. He went in for a hip replacement surgery and was given an anesthetic as he asked for.
After a minute into the surgery, Peter woke up and could smell his bone as it was sawed away. He felt the vibration as the doctor bashed the replacement hip into his thigh. Peter reported not feeling any pain during the procedure while awake.
