Going for thyroid surgery may seem scary to you because your throat will have to be cut. But do not freak out. Cutting the throat for this procedure does not mean you will die. However, this person who went in for such a procedure had a scary experience.
This person woke up during the surgery and felt pain and the surgeon against their head. This patient kept quiet even with the pain from the procedure. The patient later reported that the experience was a horrible and surreal one. The doctor and nurses later figured out the patient was awake during the surgery.
