Overheard in the Operating Room
Health professionals are always meant to be professional, especially when it comes to surgery and hospital patients. Doctors and nurses should not discuss anything else but the surgery they are engaging in when performing on any patient.
This is the case of a patient who woke up during their surgery and heard the doctor’s discussion about buying vintage lunch boxes on eBay while still performing surgery on the patient. The patient also observed that the anesthesiologist noticed that their eyes were open.
