What a Hip Replacement Sounds like when you Wake Up
Sometimes you have to take your loved ones to the hospital for surgery. This is a story of a person whose father had a hip replacement and woke up mid-way through the surgery. This father said it sounded like someone was building a house on his body during the surgery. This was because he was seeing all the sawing and hammering. He thankfully felt numb; hence he did not feel any pain.
This father later requested that the anesthesiologist put him back to sleep. This request almost knocked out the anesthesiologist, who didn’t know this father was awake. The anesthesiologist quickly put him back under.
