Saved the head, not the cyclist
Driving through narrow, hilly roads is quite a challenge in itself. However, the fact that other drivers are on the same road just adds to our problems because of the steep valleys and narrow passes. What’s more, for some reason, these types of roads are the hotspot for the most dangerous semis out there.
Amidst all that, traveling by motorcycle might seem a better option because they are perfect for the narrow passes and are more manageable; however, no convenience comes with a factor of risk, which in our case happens to be the intensity of the impact. While this Redditor and his friends might’ve thought the helmet saved this motorcyclist’s head, they were partially right, it did save the head, but the head wasn’t attached to the body anymore!
