Being caught taking a selfie is embarrassing
The way we take selfies makes a point about how we deal with embarrassment. Like other social behaviors, whether a selfie is embarrassing or not depends on the attitude of who is posing and how everyone else perceives the picture.
This woman’s selfie could have been less terrible if it hadn’t been photobombed. We can’t avoid sharing similar feelings once we see the woman’s face in the back: a selfie can get extremely cringy or awkward behind the scenes.
