There is something about the permanence of tattoos that makes them attractive symbols of romance for couples. This may have to do with immortalizing their love. However, this couple did not come in to get matching ink.
Only the woman was getting a tattoo, but she made such a scandal about the pain that she might have left a permanent mark on her boyfriend. If she bit him deep enough to draw blood, the resulting scar probably lasted more than the relationship itself.
