You can’t drive if you keep taking your medication
Fibromyalgia is a chronic disease that causes pain all over the body and emotional distress. Unfortunately, it’s often a lifelong condition. Still, you can ask a doctor to prescribe you some medications to diminish its symptoms and lead an ordinary life.
Fibromyalgia meds, such as Lyrica, often cause dizziness as a side effect. We understand that driving in such a state can be dangerous, but this physician took it too far. Unless they’ve seen their patient driving recklessly, it doesn’t make sense to cancel their medication prescription.
