An outpatient procedure goes terribly wrong
Outpatient surgeries are minor procedures that allow you to leave the hospital after the surgery and recover at home. For some, these surgeries are better than traditional ones because they cost less and reduce the risk of dangerous hospital-acquired infections.
It must be pretty overwhelming to find out that your ambulatory surgery went so wrong that the surgeon had to cut your abdomen open. At least this person got out of the hospital with a memorable story to share on the internet.
