A story about Veteran Affairs’ poor medical attention
Veterans Affairs, often abbreviated as VA, was created to help military veterans in many areas, including healthcare. However, many people report that this public program doesn’t provide good attention. Long waiting times, lack of medicine, and unfair doctors are some of its main problems.
As a physician, you can’t refuse to do tests on a patient with scary symptoms. That’s part of the job, after all. Fortunately, this poor person didn’t have a stroke and got proper medical attention afterward. Otherwise, the VA would’ve been in serious trouble.
