Her autocorrect mistake surely scared her uncle
Thanks to technology, we can keep up with sick relatives and their health status. It’s difficult to keep in touch with your family when they’re far away, but texting makes everything easier. If they’re going through a hard time, you can let them know you’re there with some text messages, as you can see in the following picture.
We can see why @sararoseboyle’s English uncle got worried about his sister when he realized she was hospitalized. He wanted to know if she was okay, but Sara probably scared him to death when the autocorrect made her tell him that her mother was “gone” instead of “home.” There’s a slight difference between the two expressions, don’t you think?
