From boyfriend to ex-boyfriend with a single text
Smartphones have made April Fool’s jokes easier to make. Everyone has a cell phone nowadays, so you can simply play a text prank on your friends, your family, or even your partner. This might be fun if the text’s receiver understands that what you’re telling them is a joke, but it can go terribly wrong if they don’t.
Since texting pranks require a subtle cunningness to throw your target off guard, @Laki100 thought it would be a good idea to joke about cheating on her boyfriend. However, it backfired, and the result was terrible. Her boyfriend told her that he’d been cheating on her for a while. What a shame!
