Goofy’s Mighty Muscly Cousin, Goofe
What is the obsession with knock-off toy producers and toned toys? Why is the creator obsessed with turning characters that were slender into gym buffs? First, it was Woody; now, Goofy has also somehow started going to the gym. Goofy isn’t renowned for his intellect, but we guess the manufacturers are telling us the backstory of Goofy that we didn’t know or ask for.
Perhaps Goofy is a heavyweight champion who uses all his spare time to pump iron and drink protein shakes. Okay, none of that is true, but it is probably true in the world of “Goofe.” What would make someone think that this toy was a good idea?
