Asked “Will you marry me?” over 20 times until he gets a ‘yes’
They are best friends and inseparable. Even though she did not say yes to his love advances, he asked her 25 times. Out of these countless proposals, she said yes three times. However, she was drunk and blacked out the next day. She is still his friend regardless of how often she has turned him down. He is not going to give up; he will keep trying. He was shocked after she told him she was ready.
He was skeptical about her claims because of her constant refusal. He was unsure and would need to know if she meant that she wanted them to marry. If so, that would mean he had not wasted his time. However, if she was joking around, he might have to move on this time because time waits for no man.
