A Disney movie screening in the mid-1900s

The image below might look frightening — you might assume it is a cult meeting. However, the origin and story behind this creepy image will debunk whatever fear you have. It is a much more magical story.

This image is a relic and an important part of Disney's history. The photograph shows the first meeting of the United States Mickey Mouse Club members on January 4, 1930, at the Fox Dome Theater in Ocean Park, California.

Time travel on a sidewalk

This image features a scene you have seen in many sci-fi movies. Here, a young couple sees an older couple in the same clothing color while they are on a walk. What event does this photograph bring into your mind? Time traveling?

Shot by Marina Bulduk, a Belarusian street photographer, this image expresses the correlation between the present and future of both couples on the sidewalks. Who would have thought they would meet their future self in the same outfit and pathway?

Model Simone D'Aillencourt in New York

The beautiful lady in this image is Simone D'Aillencourt or d'Aillencourt. From the mid-1950s through the late 1960s, she worked as a model, had a successful career, and was photographed for a famous fashion magazine that still exists today.

She and the dog, Whippet, were photographed by William Helburn, an American fashion & advertising photographer best known for his contributions to the advertising of creative revolution for Harper's Bazaar magazine in the 1950s and 1960s.

Moments before a disaster

Football is a game of passion, skills, and… injuries. This image was captured right before the kid unleashed a scream that probably shook everywhere. This photograph was taken on Southend street during one of the most memorable times of the century.

The photographer, Danny Jackson, takes authentic and unfiltered pictures of people going about their regular lives. This gem is one of those pictures he took during the COVID-19 lockdown. We all hope that little football star is okay.

A wild bull runs into the street of Nazare in 1976

This iconic shot of a bull wreaking chaos on the streets of Estremadura in Portugal is charming and comical. While other people scrambled to avoid the decapitating horns of the angry bull, Joseph Koudelka did the unthinkable to get this incredible shot.

After the bull made grown men pee in their pants, it bore away in satisfaction. Knowing the bull might charge against him at any moment, Josef stood his ground and took this picture; how iconic!

Muhammed Ali in his prime

Ali was undoubtedly one of the greatest sportsmen on earth. The photograph below captured some of the never before seen experiences Ali had, but who would have dared to have close contact with Ali without taking a punch?

No person other than Thomas Hoepker had this great opportunity. He was privileged to take images of him when he won a gold medal at the Rome Olympics, and most of his pictures have ended up in museums, collectors, and articles like this.

The desperate search for a key

Have you ever been locked out of your home, and the only spare key is inside? This photograph captured a desperate house owner frantically searching for their keys. However, we have drawn out some analogies you might agree with.

First, was the woman an intruder? Was the image planned, or it happened accidentally? Why is the photographer not taking opening the door? Rather than giving us a clear explanation of the situation, this image has left us needing clarification.

The multitasking ability of a mother

The image below shows a mother purchasing fruits and vegetables in a market in Budapest, Hungary. Unlike other photoshoots ending in just one picture, you wouldn't believe what the mother and her child did 33 years later.

A little backstory shows that the Hungarian photographer Attila Manek accidentally captured this image in 1978 while he went for a random street photography shoot. Thirty-three years later, the mother and her kid reenacted this picture to the delight of many.

CATHORstrophic

In most parts of Europe, black cats are a bad omen and evil. They are believed to bring bad luck to their owners and are often regarded as companions to witches and sorcerers. The image below may emphasize that belief.

Shot and edited by Ali Zolghadrii, an award-winning photographer, this image is a compilation of two separate images. Ali edited the perfectly cracked wall and the cat to produce this masterpiece.

NASA scientists working out equations for satellite orbits

Shot by the renowned photographer J.R. Eyerman, this iconic image is a time capsule and contributes to whatever technological advancement we currently enjoy. It shows six NASA scientists using ladders and a giant chalkboard to work out equations for satellite orbits.

Located at the Systems Labs, California, in 1957, these calculations wouldn't be complete without three notable African-American mathematicians: Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson, and Dorothy Vaughan. Their expertise in solving complex mathematical calculations helped send American astronauts into space.

Grandma still got it

Older people are often depicted as weak; however, the image below proves that wrong. This image is one of the many street photography gems that get you mesmerized, but did the photographer accidentally capture this moment, or was it planned?

This image by Richard Newman shows an older woman doing a split mid-air; this is certainly an impressive feat for someone her age. Based on her surroundings, it's most likely this older lady purposely showed off her flexible skills to the photographer.
