If you grew up watching Saved By The Bell, or like us you grew up watching early morning reruns of Saved By The Bell, then you probably went through a phase where you either wanted to date Kelly Kapowski or be Kelly Kapowski. For those of you that have no idea who we’re talking about, Kelly Kapowki was the head cheerleader at Bayside High, and her repertoire didn’t stop there, she was also captain of the volleyball team, the softball team, and the swim team, the nice girl, a good student, a role-model, and as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. See why we had a Kelly Kapowski complex? Now, here’s the thing, Saved By The Bell aired from 1989 – 1993, so as you can imagine, the fashion was incredible, but rather than just tell you about it, we’re going to show you. (tesseraonlaketravis) Today we’re looking at a few of our favorite Kelly Kapowski fashion moments. Let’s get started!

Even hanging out at home, bummed, Kelly looked super cool. Frankly, we love this light wash 90s jean paired with an oversized sweatshirt and a pair of crisp, white sneakers.

Yet another Kapowski look anyone can pull off today. We are loving the 90s fashion revival we’re seeing all over the place, and this is one of the more subtle 90s looks we would personally love to recreate. (https://artandhistory.org/) And as 30 and 40 something-year-olds, we’re really glad Kelly Kapowski almost always rocked sensible shoes.

Say what you will about the 90s, but no one skimped on color at this time, including Kelly. We have to admit, we’re kind of obsessed with this printed skirt, bright orange tee ensemble, we also feel compelled to say how much we love the little details like the belt and the cuffed short sleeves. To revive this look a little, or rather bring it to the 21st century, we recommend opting for a midi skirt rather than the form-fitting skirt pictured above, and while we love a sensible shoe, we don’t think you would regret tocking a slip-on mule or Doc Martin.

What’s not to love about this little floral-cropped number? This is a prime example of fashion circling back around, and you know what? We aren’t mad about it. You could wear this outfit as-is or you could opt to bring this ensemble to 2022 by wearing this crop top under a blazer.
