You shouldn’t listen when someone else talks about your looks
Anyone who has watched Mad Men can tell you that the publicity environment can be vicious. You never know how people may treat you once you are inside, but you must be prepared to listen to the worst things you have ever heard.
That is precisely what happened to @discountjonahh1, who was told off in one of the worst ways possible when auditioning for a TV commercial. Being told that you would suit better for radio is clearly an attack on your looks.
