Mom is usually the person you call whenever you need advice on something, be it an important life decision or a small one. But although their advice is generally solid, sometimes the decisions they make for themselves can be pretty questionable. They are human, after all.
Just look at what this Twitter user’s mother kept in her fridge. Although it is true that expiration dates are estimates, they should not be ignored. Salad dressing is made with perishable ingredients, and it is constantly exposed to air and bacteria. Consuming a five-year-old sauce is definitely not a good idea.
