This mother felt she should be celebrated on her child’s birthday too
Birthdays are supposed to be the one day when everybody celebrates you and where your loved ones show they appreciate you being in their life. But this Tonight Show fan’s mother saw the occasion in a rather different light. She believed celebrating a birth meant giving presents to the one who gave birth as well.
In her defense, she has a point. Mothers are the ones who do all the work, so why should they not get any recognition during their children’s birthdays? In all honesty, a bouquet of flowers is a small thing compared to the gift of giving birth and raising someone.
