One of Meryl Streep’s most famous films, Sophie’s Choice, tells the tragic story of a mother forced to choose which of her two children survive, a choice parents should never have to face. This person wanted to know what their mother would do in a similar situation. (hoyoskitchen.com)
But she was clearly not having it. Being that quick to respond to such a question is quite the ability to have, though. This goes to show that a mother will always find a way to avoid admitting a preference for any of her children, whether she has one or not.
