Gorgeous Gorgeous Girls Can Have Glowing Skin With These Facial Hacks

Unfortunately we do not have a magic eraser or directions to the fountain of youth, but we do have some tips to get that gorgeous, gorgeous glowing skin no matter what season we’re in. And the best part? These tips are easy to incorporate into your daily life and you won’t be breaking the bank! Let’s get started.

Give yourself a face massage. Fine lines? Puffiness? Of course there are creams and serums for this, but your hands are a useful tool for these issues that we all face as well. Giving yourself a facial massage will stiumulate circulation, minimize fine lines, and reduce inflammation at zero cost to you. (Other than a few minutes of your time!)

Use products that hydrate. If you’re like us, you panic a little bit in the skincare aisle because you’re faced with so many options, and while we can’t tell you exactly what brands and products will work for you (we’re all different!) we can tell you to look for products that are garanteed to hydrate and moisturize or products that target dry skin.

Use cool water instead of warm water when washing your face. We know, we know, the warm water feels so good, but cool water is proven to reduce puffiness, tighten your skin, and calm inflammation. Oh, and bonus, if you’re slow to rise in the morning, a splash of cool water will wake you right up.

Exfoliate that dead skin outta here. If the name of the game is an end result of clear, glowing skin, then first things first, find a face scrub to work into your routine. Dead skin can cause your skin to look dull and dry and it leads to clogged pores, so getting rid of that is vital to a healthy, glowing face.

Go au naturel. If you feel comfortable going makeup-free or just using minimal products most days, your skin will thank you. Save the full face of makeup for special occasions!

Drink water. You don’t need us to tell you that there are a ton of health benefits centered around drinking water, but we will tell you that healthy, glowing skin starts from within, so make sure you get those ounces in.

Apply your skincare to damp skin. After you’ve washed your face and your skin is damp, go ahead and apply your creams and serums. Damp skin absorbs these products better, therefore, making them more efficient.

Remove your makeup before going to bed. That is all.

If you’ve got a problem area, you know, a gigantic red zit that came totally out of left field, ice it. Applying ice will reduce redness and swelling versus poking and squeezing which will only draw more attention to it, and more than likely, leave an eventual scar. (No judgment, we all do it!)
