Meg Ryan as Dr. Blight’s voice in Captain Planet and the Planeteers
Top Gun’s actress Meg Ryan jumped into stardom after starring in the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally. A year after one of her most famous roles, Ryan lent her voice to Dr. Blight, one of the eco-villains of Captain Planet and the Planeteers.
Despite her success as Dr. Blight, Meg Ryan didn’t do any other voice-work. Instead, she focused on establishing herself as an actress. She then continued to star in romantic comedies, such as Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail. It’s such a shame that we won’t see her doing voice-overs again.
