Idina Menzel as Elsa’s voice in Frozen
Idina Menzel isn’t just a great actress but also one of the most successful Broadway performers of the time. It isn’t surprising that Disney chose her of all people to take the role of princess Elsa in 2013’s most successful animated film Frozen.
Menzel’s fantastic acting skills, combined with her beautiful voice and terrific performance, made her the perfect choice to voice the lionhearted princess Elsa. She sang herself Frozen’s iconic song, “Let It Go,” and helped the song win an Academy Award.
