In a Dutch village, the population rejected treatment to fight a measles outbreak
Located in a protestant area of The Netherlands, the fishing village of Urk suffered a measles outbreak in 2019, with many of its inhabitants refusing to get vaccinated for religious reasons. You may remember the same debate sparked globally not that long ago.
Given that they’re a relatively modern invention, it’s doubtful that the Bible mentions anything about vaccines. Besides, not getting a shot poses serious risks for your health and the well-being of your whole community.
