A UK minister is confused about the meaning of “geography”
It’s hard to believe some people got into a position of power without knowing basic vocabulary. This is the case of UK minister David Jones, who was asked, prior to Brexit, if his country would abandon the European Union.
What he meant by that statement is still unclear. Two countries or regions can put an end to their political and economic ties, but to physically part ways seems rather impossible. At least he kept his promise, right?
