This scammer isn’t clever enough to trick their victims
As you’ve seen before, online scams aren’t unusual and can reach you via social media or text message. Many of these aren’t believable, like a randomer saying you’re the closest relative of a deceased millionaire, and asking you to click somewhere to receive your inheritance.
The receiver of this message didn’t fall for it, as they noticed the scammer had sent the same message to eighteen other people. Maybe they should devote their time to something else they’re better at, instead of trying to trick innocent people.
