Feelings can sometimes play tricks on your mind and alter how you interpret reality. For this reason, if you’re someone who loves a party, you should double-check the time so that you arrive when you’re expected to. Some even suggest showing up ten or fifteen minutes late to be polite.
But nobody would recommend arriving two hours in advance, with the host probably still decorating or putting the finishing touches on the cupcakes. At least Sharon isn’t the only party-goer to have blushed over a misunderstanding. Aren’t there worse things that can happen at a party?
