October’s Very Own (OVO) by Drake
Drake and his tour manager Oliver El-Khatib created the “October’s Very Own” clothing collection, featuring owl-themed clothes. Founded in 2011, it has established itself as an intriguing label that mixes the cultural aesthetics of Kanye West with a mix of Supreme. The lifestyle brand creates clothing, art, and accessories inspired by Drake’s Canadian roots.
In April 2008, the OVO Blog was launched as an online venue for El-Khatib and other OVO employees. While Drake and his friends have been spotted wearing different OVO-branded items, the OVO x Canada Goose Chilliwack Parka is the label’s first major piece of clothing. The piece, released in limited stores on November 13, 2010, paved the way for numerous future Canada Goose collaborations that have helped define the OVO brand.
