Rihanna’s cosmetic line, Fenty Beauty, debuted on September 8, 2017, and is widely known for the Pro Filt’R foundation. This foundation is known for its broad inclusivity across skin tones and gender; it was originally released in 40 hues but then expanded to 50. Hence, Fenty Beauty concealer is available in 50 shades, catering to a wide range of skin tones.

The goal of having so many shades is to set itself apart from other makeup brands that don’t appeal to a broader demographic, mainly women with darker skin. “Time” magazine named Fenty Beauty one of the top inventions of 2017. Rihanna trademarked her surname, Fenty, for use on numerous products in June 2013, sparking suspicion that she might start working on others.
