Alfred Hitchcock had an awful fear of eggs
Alfred Hitchcock is the master of horror cinema. His iconic films Psycho, Rear Window, and Vertigo are truly the peak of their kind. There is no way someone with that twisted vision had such a mundane fear. But even if it does not sound right, this filmmaker had something called “ovophobia.”
Ovophobia is the proper term for the intense fear of eggs. This food made the filmmaker extra uncomfortable to the point where he avoided them all his life. There is no particular reason why Hitchcock could not stand eggs, but he did say that his least favorite kind were the ones where the yolk breaks and the liquid comes out.
