Franklin D. Roosevelt was very superstitious about the number 13
Many people have superstitions, and we can bet that you have your own too. But there is a line between an innocent belief and a downright obsession. You probably know Franklin D. Roosevelt as the thirty-second president of the United States. Still, he was also scared of the number 13.
You might think that this was just a simple superstition of the former leader. Still, his fear was so severe that Roosevelt had to take matters into his own hands to avoid the number. He would never travel on the 13th day of the month or sit with 13 guests at his table, for example.
