Fall Trends We’re Most Excited About

Okay, fashion girlies, with a new season comes new trends and we don’t know about you, but we’re ready to trade in our swimwear and sundresses for chunky sweaters and all the cozy layers. Here are the fall fashion trends we can’t wait to start playing with. (Xanax) Let’s take a look!

Maxi Lengths

We had no idea years ago when the maxi skirt trend showed up that we would be rockin’ with it for so long, but you won’t find us complaining about it. We can’t wait to get our hands on some maxi-length skirts and dresses this fall. Hands down, our favorite way to wear them is under a chunky wool knit paired with slip-on mules or Docs.

90s Preppy

Another trend we’ll still be rockin’ with come the new season? All out 90s. Think Mary Jane shoes, pleated mini skirts, and little ribbed sweaters. If ever you need a little inspiration, just watch the music video for Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time.

All Leather Everything

Over the last few years we’ve seen leather evolve, and this year it’s back in a number of ways. For instance, it’s 2022, and leather doesn’t have to equal black, this fall we’ll be seeing leather in just about every color imaginable. Leather also doesn’t have to just mean leather jackets, while they’ll never go out of style as long as we’re leather obsessed, we’re going to see other articles of clothing such as pants and dresses offered in this textile as well.

Outwear, But Make it …BIG

Last year we saw a huge accent coat craze, and we’re taking it up a notch this year by opting for oversized outerwear. Dusters that graze the floor, supersized faux fur, and oversized puffer jackets will be the latest in outerwear this year.

Over the Knee

A fall wardrobe just isn’t complete without the latest boot trend to complete any and all looks, and this year the boots are going to be above the knee. Now, if you have yet to give these a shot we fully encourage it. These boots are surprisingly comfy and they add just a touch of edge to your look.

Baggy Jeans

Don’t get us wrong, we still aren’t over skinny jeans or your classic mom jeans, but we are digging this baggy jean trend. We plan on wearing ours with oversized graphic tees or ribbed sweaters for an ultra-cool, ultra-laid-back look.
