You can be addicted to gambling. Being worried about gambling, like constantly planning how to get more money to bet, is a severe problem that is more psychological than anything else. This addiction can significantly affect your personal, financially and romantic life. Heather was so unlucky that her date was a gambler.
Heather had to pay everything since her date had lost all his money in bets. Also, the holes in his shirt showed how addicted he was to gambling. That relationship would never have worked. It is sad because Heather had the worst date, but we cannot help but feel sorry for the man who certainly needs professional help.
