She broke her toe before the date
Imagine going to a bar to meet your Tinder date. You would never imagine ending up in E.R. Although she was not at her best, the man she was going to date still found her attractive, and everything turned out very well, despite the broken toe.
She got a second date with this man and, although she was hurt, it was a win. Sometimes the best things come out of the worst accidents, and we always have to be thankful that it could have been worse, and luckily it wasn’t. She thought the date would go downhill, but it did not.
