The Weeknd limits seeing his family
The poster of this story has a friend that is a direct cousin of the Weeknd. From what she told the poster, the Weeknd does not like attending meetings or activities with his family members because they only ask him questions about his music and fame. It is sickening to feel out of place in your home as your loved ones would rather treat you like a star than a family member.
At the same time, it must be hard for his relatives to see him as the same guy before he got famous. We hope he and his family find common ground to agree on as regards their interaction with him.
