Giving people nicknames isn’t her thing
When working with school-aged children, you must know that they love giving people new names. You never know what they’ll come up with. While we aren’t sure if the nickname the following kid gave this guy was a joke or a compliment, we’d rather not ask. The answer might surprise us even more than the pet name itself.
Smelling like syrup isn’t inherently a bad thing, but we’re left wondering why she told him that he was sticky. Perhaps he simply had sweaty hands, which made them a bit sticky. Poor Nathan, or “Waffle,” as the little girl called him. We hope he didn’t feel too offended by the kid’s innocent remark.
