This kid’s foot isn’t asleep; it’s carbonated
When a limb falls asleep, it can be really unpleasant. We feel a horrible and strange tickling sensation, and it’s like that part of our body doesn’t belong to us anymore. When you’re a kid, it’s hard to give the feeling an accurate name, but we’ve never thought about saying our limb is carbonated.
When her mother explained what was happening to her foot, she probably felt somewhat disappointed. We can’t blame her, though. It’s far more interesting to think you have soda instead of blood inside your body. However, it’d be rather uncomfortable when running or doing some exercise. And not to mention eating Mentos! You’d become a human jetpack in the blink of an eye.
