Serving nails as an ice cream topping is a no-go
Acrylic nails are absolutely stunning. Their popularity has risen considerably over the last few years, and many people choose to wear them at work. However, if you work with food, they are undoubtedly off-limits. When handling food, you must limit your chances of contaminating it, so having false acrylic nails that can come off at any time is probably a bad idea.
The Twitter user @myspace_orYours found out about this the hard way. She was laid off after accidentally serving an ice cream cone with an acrylic nail as a topping. Although this might seem unfair to her, imagine being the customer and getting a stranger’s nail on your food! Let’s hope she has learned the lesson and is now more careful with her fake nails.
