If you get caught, blame it on your doctor
As we’ve previously said, working in the food industry can be really frustrating because there is a lot of food waste. It is sad and almost unnecessary, but even if you wish to take home some of those things that end up in the trash, many company policies don’t accept that.
Honestly, if we were in Meghan’s shoes, we probably would’ve done the same thing. Food waste is the worst! And her joke wasn’t as terrible as to get her fired, don’t you think? Was she right to take the bagels home and tell that awful pun to her boss? Or was she rightfully fired?
