Not cleaning the oven correctly ends up in an explosion
One of the first things you learn when working in a kitchen is that cleanness is everything. It is not uncommon that the newbies get assigned more cleaning chores as they do not yet have experience around the kitchen to be working alone. Paying extra attention is vital, even when learning how to clean the appliances.
This poor person lost their job just because they didn’t know how to use oven cleaner properly. Not only it’s kind of sad, but it also makes us think that there are no stupid questions when you’ve just started a new job! In this case, a question as simple as “how do I clean this?” could’ve saved this person’s job… and also the oven door!
