Speaking of British television, there is probably no show more popular than the BBC-produced series Doctor Who. It has been running since 1963, with an interlude in between, gaining new fans yearly. This show is so good that has garnered viewers who aren’t even sci-fi fans.
This strange-looking centerpiece is a Dalek, a mutant from Outer Space bent on exterminating everything it deems a threat. They are the Doctor’s mortal enemies and are feared by children from all around the world. Adding the tutu and placing them on a cake makes them a lot less scary.
