They used a real Pop-Tart to make Nyan Cat’s torso
Back in 2011, a YouTube video featuring an animated cat with a Pop-Tart for a torso became a popular viral meme. It was called Nyan cat and featured the feline flying through space and leaving a rainbow trail behind. It was a hit.
These cake bakers were charged with making a dessert inspired by this character, and they made the brilliantly effective decision of using an actual Pop-Tart to make the cat’s body. There are situations when the most obvious path is the one to choose.
