This cake is ironically decorated for a diabetic person
Most people enjoy eating sweet treats, especially cake. But having even a tiny amount of sugar can be life-threatening for some. That is the case for people with diabetes, whose condition causes their bodies to be unable to process glucose. This cake would not be for them, then.
There are two kinds of diabetes: Type One usually appears in children and involves the immune system attacking insulin-producing cells in the pancreas. Type Two tends to occur in older folks and is a result of the cells becoming resistant to insulin.
