The bosses broke their own rules
In an office environment, the management is usually in charge of enforcing certain ground rules so everything goes smoothly inside the office. This is why it is odd that they would hang up a sign that breaks their own guidelines.
If they are telling people not to put thumbtacks on walls, then why would they be allowed to do so? When another worker attempted to point this out, the exchange spiraled into an endless post-it notes war. That is an example of what not to do.
