This sign attempts to keep students from smoking
Unlike the last sign you’ve seen, this one was hung on top of a high school classroom. According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, the average US age for a new smoker is 13, with approximately 90% of smokers beginning before they turn 18.
After learning this information, the fact that high school teachers are taking action to prevent this harmful habit shouldn’t come as a surprise. Pictures of smoking animals may not be a solid deterrent, but hopefully, they were efficient.
